RHODE ISLAND PUBLIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION
We are very excited to announce the release of the New 2026 Community Health Report StoryMaps for the 02907 and South Providence Health Equity Zones (HEZs), a collaboration between the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH), the South Providence and 02907 Health Equity Zones (HEZs), and the Rhode Island Public Health Association (RIPHA).
These reports aim at providing a data-driven overview of the health and wellness landscape of the South Providence and 02907 Health Equity Zones (HEZs) communities. They highlight key health strengths, challenges, and disparities and explore factors that may help identify significant health challenges, contributing factors, and areas that may require attention and further action.
The reports incorporate a combination of data sources, including U.S. Census data, American Community Survey (ACS) estimates, and live GIS data from RIDOH MyNeighborhood, an interactive mapping platform that is continuously updating.
